- NASA APOD, the picture of the day. NASA material is public domain; the individual photographs often are not, so each one names its own photographer where it has one.
- GeoNames, the names of places and their timezones, CC BY 4.0. Shipped inside the app, so nobody is told where you are.
- OpenStreetMap, the streets under a map dataset. The data is ODbL and the tiles are drawn and served by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. This is the only thing on this page your own browser fetches, which is why the credit is on the map as well as here. The small picture of a map in the dataset picker is one of their tiles too, shipped inside the app so that choosing a shape fetches nothing.
